What does the SOLAR KEYMARK mean
Solar Keymark is a voluntary certification mark for solar thermal products, which is proof for the end user that the product complies with the relevant European standards and meets other requirements. Certification is performed by an independent third party. Solar Keymark is used in Europe and is increasingly recognized worldwide.

Solar Keymark is a CEN/CENELEC European scheme for marking solar thermal products, intended exclusively for:

Solar thermal collectors (based on European standards of the EN 12975 series),

Industrially produced solar thermal systems (based on European standards of the EN 12976 series).

The Solar Keymark was developed by the European Solar Thermal Industry Federation (ESTIF) and CEN (European Committee for Standardization) in close cooperation with leading European testing laboratories and with the support of the European Commission. It is the main brand for solar thermal products, which is very widespread in the European market and beyond.

TSÚ Piešťany, š.p. is an authorized certification body and an accredited testing laboratory for solar thermal products. We are the only certification body in the Solar Keymark system in Central Europe and at the same time the only accredited laboratory in Slovakia.
