Opening ceremony of new anechoic test chamber for tests of electromagnetic compatibility
On 27th August 2014 the opening of anechoic test chamber in TSU Piešťany took place, which is intended for tests of electromagnetic compatibility. Employees of TSU, as well as the representative of supplying company - ETS Lindgren took part at the opening ceremony. ETS Lindgren belongs among world best suppliers in the field of EMC. Testing Body of TSU is accredited by Slovak National Accreditation Service (SNAS) for tests of electromagnetic compatibility. TSU Piešťany is also Notified Body of EU with identification number 1299 for EU Directives 2004/108/EC Electromagnetic compatibility and plans to use the anechoic chamber for testing of resistance and emission in the field of EMC.
Basic parameters of anechoic test chamber: measuring distance from tested device is 3m, highest measuring frequency is 18 GHz, field homogenity of tested device is 1,5m x 1,5m. Anechoic test chamber is designed for tests of resistance for measuring by horizontal and vertical polarization of antenna up to 4m according to standard EN 61000-4-3.
